Motorbike practical test

Candidates must clear or pass the motorbike theory test if they want to appear for driving practical motorcycle test. The new motorcycle practical test motive is to improve the road safety for motorcycle and moped riders.
To pass the practical motorbike test you must pass its two separate modules within two years of passing your bike theory test.

Module 1 contains the specified manoeuvres element of the test which is conducted off-road. It includes exercises designed to assess the rider's ability to control their machine safely, including avoidance and emergency stop exercises.

Module 2 includes an eyesight test and at least 30 minutes of on road riding, assessing the rider's ability to safely interact with other road users.

Your test results

Examiner will give you the result at the end of module test one, at that time you can ask them for a feedback on your performance. You will receive your module one pass certificate if you pass. The examiner will tell you whether you have passed or failed at the end of module two. At the same time you can ask for feedback on performance.

Even if you fail you should ask the examiner for feedback which will help you prepare whenever you appear for a retest. If you make any mistakes driving test report will identify areas.

The examiner will explain to you how to change your provisional licence into a full licence if you pass both the modules.
