Eco-driving is a style of driving that leads to security, safety, considerate, comfortable, efficient, economic, environmentally friendly methods that lead to reduced air and noise pollution and fuel savings.

This style of driving can therefore play an important role in saving our planet.

Green driving also reduces level of stress on the driver and so the amount of road accidents.

Eco friendly driving not only reduces CO2 and the damage your driving causes to the environment, it can save you cost of owning the car; you will use less fuel and your car will need less maintenance work.

Many of the European countries have accepted successful methods of eco-driving. UK Government also encourages everyone to use green car so from January 2011, you can get up to 25 per cent off the cost (to a maximum of £5,000) of a new, low-carbon car.
