|
A driving test is a test designed to test a
person's ability to drive a vehicle. Which is a
requirement for obtaining a driving licence. |
|
The theory test
is made up of two parts, the multiple choice part
and hazard perception part. You need to pass both
the parts for a successful theory test. Once you
have passed your theory test, you can easily apply
for the practical test. |

The multiple choice part of theory test is delivered
using a touch screen computer whereas the hazard
perception part records your responses through a
computer mouse button. |

To pass the
theory test, you need to pass both the parts. If you
pass any one part and fails the other, you will fail
the whole test. Which leads to reappear for the
whole test again.Each
questions in multiple choice part is based on the
vehicle you have chosen for a test. For example, if
you have chosen car theory test then the questions
specific to car will appear for the multiple choice
part |

Whereas, for
hazard perception test part there are no separate
questions. Any vehicle you have chosen you will get
the same set of questions. Only the pass marks are
different for different vehicles. |

Multiple Choice Part |
|
The multiple
choice part of theory test consists of 50 questions
of multiple choice type. You have to select your
answer just by touching the computer screen. Select
the box alongside the correct answers to be
selected. Some questions may require more than one
answer. |

In 57 minutes
you have to solve 50 questions. You have the
facility to flag the unsure answers and later come
back on the questions and correct the answer. The
pass marks are 43 our of 50. |

Hazard Perception Test |
|
The hazard perception part of the theory test gets
included in theory test to improve the learner
driver’s skills. |
|
This hazard perception test consists of 14 video
clips each about a minute long. The test delivered
on a computer and you have to respond through a
mouse click. Every clip contain atleast one road
scene. |
|
Do not click
continuously as the hazard perception clip plays. If
you click continuously you will score zero. But if
you click on other hazards you will not lose any
points. |
