Learner driver can change or cancel their DSA theory test by giving three clear working days notice period. They can make use of online service or telephone to cancel the driving theory test. They can also download cancellation form and send it by post.

Cancelling or rescheduling a test
If you are using an online service then it hardly takes five minutes and if you are using a telephone to cancel the theory test you need to contact the Driving Standard Agency.
You can cancel the theory test by using these DSA theory booking and inquiries numbers such as:

Text phone: 0300 200 1166
You can make use of this service from Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm and Sunday is not counted as working day. You will get the full refund if you inform the DSA by giving three clear working days notice period.
Note: Sundays and other holidays are not counted as working days.
For example: If you want to cancel your test which is held on coming Wednesday, then you have to call the booking office by a previous Thursday afternoon at the latest -
- to move or change your appointment
- to cancel your appointment
- to have a full refund of test fee
